I’m pleased to present Guy Gotto’s latest film ‘Chess’ on which I collaborated with my good friend and talented Sound Designer Alex Lane. A special mention goes out to Lee Fenwick and Drew Heasman who made themselves available at short notice to record the dialogue. The film is now featured on the Roundhouse website and I’ll be posting the score on my Soundcloud...

I recently wrote a short piece for James Giplin’s introductory film at the YCN Student Awards. This was illustrated by Lauren Gentry and animated by Plastic Horse with the narration of Robert Frost’s ‘The Road Not Taken’ performed by James himself.

Work is already underway and the footage he’s shot so far looks fantastic. Although this pilot does not feature my own contribution here’s a taste of what you can expect from what is set to be a very exciting project.

SHYSCAPES
A truly inspiring art movie from German film maker Misha Shyukin. The haunting soundtrack was composed by Berlin’s Nils Frahm.
YELLOW FISH
This week I’ve been in Brighton at the Yellow Fish Music Group. The space consists of two studios and an additional mobile recording facility. Here I’ve been fortunate enough to mix a track by The Shoestrung on the very same 48 track desk used to record Queen live at Wembley. This should accompany the band’s performance on the next edition of the Yellow Fish Sessions...
A great new way for communities to share music. Let’s hope it catches on.
NEW YEAR
First of all a slightly belated but very happy 2011. With the new year comes a variety of new projects which I’m really excited to be involved with so I thought I would take a moment to fill you in.
In the coming months I will be scoring for a performance called Being Alive - written and directed by Alexander O’Toole. This is a great opportunity to use more traditional...

Over the past week I’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate with film makers Guy Gotto and James Weir on their trailer for ‘The Foundation.’ All we know is that ‘it’ is coming to Covent Garden in 2011 and that the trailers with the most YouTube likes will be judged by a panel at The London Film School.
The final cut is being edited as we speak and...
